Short answer: Kratom is federally unscheduled in the US but banned or restricted in several states, counties and cities — and rules change often. Always verify your current state and local laws before ordering.
States with restrictions (verify current status)
As of recent years, states including Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin have restricted kratom, plus various cities and counties elsewhere (for example parts of California and Florida). Because laws shift, treat any list as a starting point — confirm with official state sources before you buy.
How to check your local laws
- Search your state’s statutes for “kratom” / “mitragynine” / “7-hydroxymitragynine”
- Check county and city ordinances too — local bans exist inside legal states
- Review our Terms and Shipping policy — we only ship where lawful
Ordering safely
